I read a lot of comments about how boring this season is, but when the lights go out and that first corner is reached. you never know do you! As a race driver in lesser cars I know you can put in a lot of effort to get near the front of the grid only to loose everything with the slightest of mistakes. So I'm on the edge of my seat regardless at that first corner, and of course qualifying is a thread the needle brilliance the difference between hero and zero, no I'm sorry no F1 season is ever boring for me.

If Mass can demonstrate in court that he was cheated out of a championship, your beloved Hamilton will certainly lose his title, you need about an IQ of 2 to understand that.

F1 has always been about the best of the best competing against each other ............ Rain deliberately upsetting the race is not why most F1 fans are addicted to our sport. Yes!! 1 or 2 rain effected race days is acceptable but, as things are unfolding now, most car development has been severely stunted as a result of excessive weather interruptions (eg Mercedes who has a double whammy to contend with ...... Their very disappointing driver pairing and the lousy race weekend weather conditions that prevent them from effectively identify & setup problems).

Spa is the second best, after Silverstone. A close second but second nonetheless. Two truly awesome tracks.

Of course as everyone knows by now redmax "racing team" is of course using a different category car so fishfacemax' accomplishments are bogus. So besides that fake "champion" out of the picture, the race could be interesting among the rest of the field with winner being between Perez, the ham, Norrid, or Alonso. Maybe Le wreck if he stays out of trouble or jack russel if he can keep up the pace. Pastry could spring a surprise or even Sainz. At the back of the field the usual suspects like Smileyboy and nippondenso boy, madnussen, etc.

I have noticed that championship battles have occurred when regulations have been stable for a few years. So they need to stop meddling with the rules, especially now that there is no testing and upgrading a car is limited with cost.

Really hoping the Astons or McLarens can do something interesting this weekend. That said, we are watching the perfect marriage of car and driver at Red Bull.

For all the people who say the season is boring, who would you like to win. A name please. Not a cop out answer like " anyone"

nice to have Ronald as guest in this issue. he's a good Dutch motor sports journalist. seeing the photo in the backdrop made me feel nostalgic!!! 1976.. oh yes, I was there at Zandvoort, 19 yrs, with my mum who used to love anything with racing in those days. for this weekend? I'm not getting there, too crowdy for me. Will be watching everything via F1tv and stay dry.. there's a bottle of Pátron Tequila and perhaps I may have good reason to open it if Checo improves his race result compared to 2022 and 2021. That's one way of looking at things. Then furthermore I hope the Papaya team will do well! Oh.. and Alonso, would love that!
