Checo should have started on the hards like Max. The Hondas are so superior to their competitors that starting on hards would not have given Checo a disadvantage to those around him. And he gets to keep a check on Max's tire wear. The mediums went away due to a fully fueled car. Race organizer should think carefully. In many circuits the location are a bit remote from city centres. There is safety concern when the race ends in late night. There will be 20K or 30K audience needs to travel back to their hotels safely. One driver could navigate conditions and his competition. The other was disadvantaged. Checo was also told Max was doing lift and coast when Max was doing push laps. Red Bull deliberately skewed this result.
