The restarting thing in Australia was AMAZING and it should always been done. Best Grand Prix to watch since the last race of 2021. Standing start, 1st turn action is the most amazing part to any viewer, so they need to make this a top priority.

People forget Max can extract an extra 6 tenths from that Rb19, while most drivers will underperform in the same car.

You sound like somebody who's never competed talking about getting rid of practice. Liberty media was so much better than the wicked burnie ecelstone, but they've tasted the money they can make with F1, and there going down a bad road for competition.

F1 should have a 5 lap extra racing rule. Either give the teams extra fuel just in case or red flag and let them top up a bit to cover for a 5 lap final under green. I like the former because they can do a safety car and let the teams scramble to react. So if there's a crash in the last 5 or 10 laps, just ensure there's 5 green laps.

Great content! I think FP2 on a sprint race weekend is ridiculous. I’d like to see FP1, FP2, Qualifying, Sprint, Race. Or just no sprint race. Oh and no reverse orders please! F1 is about who’s the fastest, not a gambling game.

RB improved its grip by altering the rear ride height between the corners and the straight line. It would be good to have some measurable comparison of the rake change over the lap between 2 cars (eg. Merc & RB). RB is much lower at the rear on the straight, front wing is a bit higher (front wheel being the pivot point) thus higher airflow beneath the car -> higher downforce.

<<@nathikay1881

Red bull is able to ride their car very lower to the ground compared to their competitors due to their Supreme anti dive suspension designed by Adrian. Both front and rear suspension do not dive as much as their competitors thus keeping the car at stable ride height. Other competitors have an anti dive of about 15 degree whilst redbull is at about 45 degrees which makes their car relatively flat when breaking or accelerating hence we see the redbull sparking more along the straight because they are running their car lower than competitors this can also help in stalling the diffuser thus amplifying the DRS advantage. The key to redbulls advantage is pretty much suspension related. This will not help so much in qualifying hence the times are a bit closer due to tyre temperature generation being not as good and you also see this Suspension trickery in front tyre locking because the car is not diving that much in the front. The situation improves during the race and they are able to keep the tyres in perfect working condition and temperatures because of their good suspension.

As an old timer F1 nut I'm not a fan of changing too much on the weekend. But if they really want to change it, I think the best format would be a long FP1 (1.5 or 2 hours) and a quali for the Sunday race on Friday. And then a stand alone sprint event on Saturday, with a special sprint quali (one lap shoot out?) and a sprint race. And then the main race on Sunday.

So how does this channel not have more subscribers?!?! And also Blake’s channel is underrated as well. Here’s hoping the rest of the season settles in and there’s a little more competition between 3-10 on the grid as it looks like Red Bull will probably sweep this thing unless they have a typical DNF or two over the course of the season.

A small rear wing makes a small DRS delta, not the other way round. For a large DRS delta you want a large proportion of your drag to be caused by the rear wing upper flap.
