Add to that the increase front tyre size (18" ilo 15") simply makes the visibility worse. Yes it does make things more exciting but then the 'rules' (which seem more like rough guidelines) are being used to turn racing into a manufactured spectacle. The development, technology and innovation by the teams is being eroded in order to create more drama for the viewer, which is diluting the raison d'etre of the sport. I've been a die hard fan of F1 since I was 3 years old and this was the most pathetic and "american" way of handling the situation. Liberty media are putting entertainment before true motorsport action and it's ruining/ruined the DNA of the sport, the highest class of motorsport in the world is being messed around by money making americans. If it's a "boring" race get over it, it's motorsport it's about what can and can't happen and not about manipulating artificial entertainment for the benefit of purely making money by keeping the "uneducated" viewers happy. If it hasn't gone to the dogs already it's getting there very quickly. Penalties should be served DURING the race.
