This team gave him a bad name. Lou Will, Trez, Reggie, Pandemic P all of them were on the floor but didn't show up. It would have been better for them to have been injured like Pat Bev in the Bubbble. The following season none of them could guard Luka. Kawhi had to carry defensively and offensively. Steph, LeBron, Giannis, KD and so on don't have to carry such loads and they don't get criticised. As soon as an opposing player is on fire, Kawhi gets mocked, "a great defender can guard the best player, his defense has not been the same since Spurs". Games literally changed when he decided to guard Giannis, Butler, Luka. Raptors was a great defensive team, Clippers are a great defensive team. No, they were decent Kawhi was the greatness. The only legit players that you can rely on are Kawhi, Batum, Kennard, Coffey, Powell.
